Bakuon!! OVA
It all started on a rather fine day. Eagerly riding their motorbikes on the freeway were the girls from the Motorbike Club: Sakura Hane on the Honda CB400SF, Suzunoki Rin on the Suzuki GSX400S Katana, Amano Onsa on the Yamaha Serow 225W, and Minowa Hijiri (with her butler) on the Ducati 750SS Imola Replica. Even though their journey would be a long one, everybody was in high spirits. In particular Onsa, who had made up a poem enthusiastically. Well, to be honest it was just so-so, as evident in the reactions from the rest. Laughter aside, Hane resonated with Onsa's feelings. She had been looking forward to the ride as well. A little too much it seemed.
Anyway, an unexpected downpour in the middle of their ride had them stop by a service centre eventually. Totally drenched, the girls decided to dry out their vehicles and such. They headed into the convenience store for something hot to drink. To their surprise and delight (mostly Hane's), a particular brand of canned coffee had miniature motorbikes packaged together with its drinks. However, the most excited had to be Rin, who spotted quite a range of Suzuki miniature motorbikes. A playful Onsa then teased that it was because Suzuki hadn't been popular with the consumers, hence the large number of cans remaining.
While resting outside with their motorbikes, a thirsty Hane was about to open her can of coffee when a frustrated Onsa reminded her the purpose of their long trip. Onsa's father had recommended a not so wonderful yet still worth visiting coffee shop which would take a hundred miles to get there. Onsa was skeptical at first, but her father then said: Patience is romance. Well, whatever that was supposed to mean! Anyway, the Hundred Mile Blend could be found at the coffee shop called Blind Alley. The response had been lukewarm, but a determined Onsa decided that they would all conquer the long journey just to have a taste.
The next leg of their ride was briefly interrupted by the malfunctioning of their motorbikes. It was pretty hilarious to see their vehicles failing on them one after the other. But the delay hadn't been long, as Raimu-senpai had caught up with the gang on her Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R with the necessary tools. Everybody soon resumed the steep ride up the meandering slope.
Quite unfortunately, they were shocked to see a closed shop upon reaching their destination. The most disappointed was no doubt Onsa, who had actually cried. The rest of the girls then realised that Onsa had been in fact the most excited person among them. A quick-thinking Hane remembered that their canned coffee was still untouched. She handed a can to Onsa, who gratefully drank it. Delicious, she said.
Despite the disappointment, they were still able to find back some enjoyment towards the end. They visited a hot spring bath to relax and rejuvenate. Once again, Rin became the target of everybody else's teasing. Honestly, it wasn't all that bad.
