Pre-Event: Game Start Asia 2015
For the first time in forever (singing Frozen song in the background) I am invited to the Game Start Asia 2015 with a friend of mine. It is going to happen on this coming weekend ; 13 to 15 November 2015.
This year the convention is going to be held over 3 days at Suntec Convention Centre Halls 401 and 402. For the first day of the event, it is only open for business affiliate, media and VIP ticket holders only.
Since the early-bird tickets have sold out, they are selling standard price ticket at $12.80 per day or $22.80 for both days entry. A VIP ticket cost $58.80. A VIP ticket entitles you to the following items:

Since this is my first time attending a Game Convention in Singapore, I will not miss the chance to grab my goodies bag by being the first 500 guests in the queue. The event will start at 10 am and I have a feeling that I will get extremely excited on that day. I cannot imagine how many gamers or fans will arrive before sunrise in order to get the door gifts. I read on Facebook which some fans proclaimed that they will be there around 7AM. (Oh my goodness!) .
Every visitor will get one chance to join the event lucky draw and this year items are brilliant and fantastic! Do note that all online ticket purchase automatically entitle to a lucky draw, but physical ticket holders need to register online. Winners for the draw will be notified via email by 20 November 2015.
It will be an eye-popping experience for me and I look forward to certain booths such as :
PLAYSTATION
According to the official website, this year Sony's booth will showcase PlayStation VR and it is the first ever public hands-on in Southeast Asia. Unfortunately the registration for this hands-on has closed on 10 November 2015. To my fellow gamers, do not feel discouraged. Sony will host a total of 50 demo stations showcasing 30 games which include Street Fighter V, Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Star Wars Battlefront and others. Starwar Battle Pod
Although I do not play this game but I want to see this arcade machine. I foresee this area will be packed like sardines since they are giving out prizes to the best pilot with the best score for every level. All pilots who play the arcade machine during Game Start 2015 are eligible for this contest. Players get to decide which level they want to try out at the start of their turn. The machine is available to all attendees, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
